Aurelia Amber was founded by a mother and daughter, Dorota and Isabela Zawistowska. After many summers visiting family in Poland, we became fascinated with the popularity of amber in Eastern Europe and its natural occurrence in the Baltic Sea. The Baltic hosts 90% of the world’s amber supply. Our grandmothers would often gift us pieces of amber jewelry as a token of their love. We want to extend this love and remembrance of our culture through Aurelia.
To ensure 100% genuine amber, we partner with local artisans in Poland who have been creating amber jewelry for generations. All of our amber is currently sourced from Poland and designed by us in California.
